Summary Window

The first window displayed when Business Console is opened is the summary window. Depending on your user role, you might see one, more, or all of the modules.

The Summary window displays the modules available to you based on your permissions. The elements of the Summary Window include:

File, Window, and Help menus

Module panes, as available

Refresh button—refreshes the module information

User and server information displayed in the bottom bar.

Interface Panes

The Business Console interface is divided into multiple panes. An example of the multiple panes is shown in the following figure, which displays the panes in the draft taxonomy view.

A—Taxonomy pane

B—Resource taxonomy pane (drag the bottom bar up to open this pane)

C—Working area pane, including Documents, Information, Training, Manual Actions, and Permissions tabs

Each module has an interface pane with different elements. Each is discussed in the section for that module.

Drag and Drop

Drag and drop functionality is available within the taxonomy pane, as well as from the resource taxonomy pane to the taxonomy pane. This functionality enables move or copy and paste for a taxonomy.
