Vi18nIsValidLocaleCharmap


Call the Vi18nIsValidLocaleCharmap function to determine whether the specified character map is valid for the specified locale.


Syntax

int Vi18nIsValidLocaleCharmap(char *locale, char *charmap)


Arguments

 


locale

char*   A pointer to the locale name.

charmap

char*   A pointer to the character map’s name.


Returns

This function returns one of the following values:

0 for an invalid character map.

 

1 for a valid character map.

 


Discussion

Both the locale and character map name are case insensitive. For the list of locales and associated character maps, see Appendix A of the Verity Locale Configuration Guide.
