Vi18nIsValidCharmap


Call the Vi18nIsValidCharmap function to determine whether the specified character map is valid.


Syntax

int Vi18nIsValidCharmap(char *charmap)

Arguments

 


charmap

char*   A pointer to the character map’s name.


Returns

This function returns one of the following values:

0 for an invalid character map.

 

1 for a valid character map.

 


Discussion

The Vi18nIsValidCharmap function checks for the existence of a Verity character map (*.cs) file whose name corresponds to the name specified in the charmap argument; for example, utf8.cs for the utf8 character map.

The character map name is case insensitive. (For the list of character map names, see Charmap List.)
