IDOL Output Engine Configuration Parameters

The IDOL output engine transforms records and then indexes them into an IDOL Server. This section describes the parameters that you can set in the configuration section for an IDOL output task.

Configuration Parameter Description
EventTrack The track to use as the event track (for event output mode).
IDOLDb The IDOL Server database to index data into.
IDOLHost The host name or IP address of the IDOL Server to index data into.
IDOLParams Additional IDOL index action parameters.
IDOLPort The IDOL Server ACI port.
Input A comma-separated list of the tracks that you want to output.
Labels A comma-separated list of labels (key/value pairs) to add to the output produced by Media Server.
Mode The output mode, which specifies how to combine records into IDOL documents.
OutputInterval The amount of video content represented by each document that is sent to IDOL (when you use time output mode).
SavePostXML Whether to save IDX files produced by the IDOL output engine.
SavePreXML Whether to save records received by the IDOL output engine.
Type The type of output engine to use. Set this parameter to IDOL.
XMLOutputPath The directory in which to store records that the IDOL engine receives and the IDX files that it produces.
XSLTemplate The XSL template to apply to the output to transform it into an IDX file.
