This parameter is deprecated in Media Server 11.4.0 and later. HPE recommends that you use the parameter IngestDateTime instead.
This parameter is still available for existing implementations, but it might be incompatible with new functionality. The parameter might be removed in future.
The ingest engine produces output tracks that contain timestamped records. This parameter allows you to control the timestamp values.
For example, when ingesting video that was broadcast at an earlier time, you can set the ingest time to the broadcast time. The timestamps on the output records then match the broadcast, which is useful when retrieving the content from the rolling buffer.
If you ingest a file multiple times, you can ensure that the timestamps are the same each time.
This parameter specifies the time that is used for producing record timestamps. It does not control the time that Media Server begins ingesting video. Ingestion begins as soon as you start a session.
Specify the time as EPOCH/UTC time in seconds.
|Default:||Current UTC time|
