The rotate transformation engine rotates images. You can use it to rotate ingested images before analysis, or to rotate images that have been analyzed so that detected faces and text appear in the correct orientation when images are encoded.
The engine also translates any coordinates contained in records, so that their position is correct for the rotated image. For example, face detection outputs the locations of a person's eyes. The co-ordinates are modified so that the positions are correct for the rotated image.
This section describes the parameters that you can use to configure rotation.
|Angle||The rotation to apply to the input image, in degrees, clockwise.|
|Input||The name of the track that contains the images to rotate.|
|LuaScript||The path to a Lua script that returns the rotation to apply to the input image, in degrees, clockwise.|
