When you train HPE Media Server, the HPE Media Server database is updated with new training data. However, HPE Media Server does not use this training data in analysis operations until it has synchronized with the database.
This parameter specifies whether to automatically synchronize with the database according to a schedule. Set this parameter to one of the following values:
periodic- HPE Media Server loads training data when it starts and synchronizes with the database at regular intervals as defined by the SyncInterval parameter.
startup- HPE Media Server loads training data when it starts but does not synchronize with the database at timed intervals.
never- HPE Media Server does not load any training data when it starts and does not synchronize with the database at timed intervals.
Setting this parameter does not prevent HPE Media Server synchronizing with the database before beginning a
Process action. If you want to prevent this, set
SyncDatabase=FALSE for the relevant analysis task(s).
For more information about configuring how HPE Media Server synchronizes with the database, refer to the HPE Media Server Administration Guide.
