The maximum number of sessions, that use the Receive ingest engine, to start concurrently. You can use this configuration parameter to limit the number of sessions that are started by upstream Media Servers. If you do not want to accept any requests from upstream Media Servers, set this parameter to 0.

If this limit is exceeded the additional requests are queued. Requests can remain in the queue unless they reach the timeout specified by QueueTimeout. When a request is queued, the upstream HPE Media Server does not start ingesting media until the downstream HPE Media Server is ready to begin processing.

Requests from upstream Media Servers are not started using the process action, so this parameter and [Process] MaximumThreads are not related.
