The Image Hash analysis engine generates a hash that describes the approximate color distribution of an image or video frame. The hash is suitable for indexing into IDOL Server. You can use image hashes to detect duplicate images, because identical images will have identical hashes. An image will also have the same hash if it is scaled, but not if it is subject to transformations such as translation or perspective distortions.
This section describes the parameters that you can set in the configuration section for an image hash task.
|Input||The track that you want to process.|
|Type||The analysis engine to use. Set this parameter to
|Output track||Type||Description||Output1This column indicates whether the information contained in the track is included by default in the output created by an output task (when you don't set the Input parameter for the output task).|
||ImageHashResult||Contains a record for every hash that is generated.||Yes|
