SSLConfig

Identifies the configuration section in which the SSL configuration details are specified, usually SSLOptionN. You must set this parameter if you are using SSL connections between IDOL components.

Set this parameter in the [Server] section of the unified IDOL Proxy Component configuration file to configure SSL for incoming ACI calls.

If you want all IDOL components to communicate with each other using SSL, you must also set the SSLIDOLComponents parameter to true. If SSLIDOLComponents is set to false, then the SSLConfig options configures incoming communications with the IDOL Proxy component.

When SSLIDOLComponents is set to true, you must also set SSLConfig in other configuration sections for outgoing communications between IDOL Components. SSLConfig can be set in the [Agent], [AgentDRE], [CatDRE] and [DataDRE] sections.

Additionally, SSLConfig can be set for the Index port in the [IndexServer] section and for the Service port in the [Service] section. It can also be set for the ACI, Alert, Cat and Index IndexTasks modules, in the [ACITask], [AlertTask], [CategoryTask] or [IndexingTask] sections respectively. It can also be set for the Mailer when performing custom user actions, by setting it in the [MyCustomFunctionality] section. It can also be set for the View component in the [Viewing] section. For Group Servers, set SSLConfig in the [MySecurityRepository] section.

Note: To define one set of SSL options that are shared by multiple communications, define only one SSLOption section. Set the SSLConfig parameters in each section to the single SSLOption section.
