IndexerGetStatus/IndexAction
Type

String

Default

Description

Enter one of the following in order to control the indexing of an index job:

Pause
The current indexing job is paused until IndexAction is set to Restart. Note that if you pause an indexing job and then stop IDOL server without cancelling the indexing job, the indexing will carry on automatically when you restart IDOL server.

Restart
The current indexing job is restarted (after it has been paused).

Cancel
The current indexing job is aborted.

SetPriority
Allows you to change the priority of an indexing job. This setting is required for the Priority parameter.

If you set IndexAction to Pause or Restart, it will always be the current index job that is paused or restarted. If you set IndexAction to Cancel or SetPriority, the action can be limited to the index jobs specified using the Index parameter.

Example

http://12.34.5.6:20000/action=IndexerGetStatus&Index=<IndexID>&IndexAction=Setpriority&Priority=<NN>

This action changes the priority of index job <IndexID> to <NN>.
