Lua Functions for Controller

Controller Lua scripts take the basic form:

function TaskMain(service)
   local status = 0
   -- perform task
   return status

Scripts return a status value that indicates the status event. The status event is recorded by the Controller server:

Status value Status event
0 Success - Task Successfully completed
1 Warning - Warning occurred
2 Error - Critical Error
3 A status value of 3 means that the script has completed successfully. No extra status event is generated.

This section describes the Controller-specific functions that you can use in Lua scripts. In addition, Controller also supports all common Lua functions, such as those supported by the IDOL Connector Framework Server (CFS). See the Connector Framework Server Administration Guide and Connector Framework Server Reference for more information. For more general information on the Lua scripting language, see
