AddService

The AddService action enables you to add a service to Controller. You can include the following information to specify the service that you want to include:

The action reads the port information for the service from the configuration file, and includes it in the response.

Parameters

Parameter Description Required
ConfigPath The path to the configuration file of the service that you want to add.  
ControlMethod The control method to use.  
ExecPath The full path of the executable file for the service that you want to add.  
InitScriptPath

The path to the script to use to control the service.

 
Labels

Any labels to associate with the service.

 
Name

A name for the service that you want to add.

 
SCMServiceName

The name of the Windows service, if applicable.

 
Type

A description of the type of service.

 

Comments

You can also submit this action from Coordinator by specifying the ControllerUUID parameter. For more information, refer to the Coordinator Reference.
