MaxIndexTermsPerDocument

The maximum number of distinct terms to index for any document section. Use this parameter to reduce the effect of very long documents on the size of the index.

After the specified limit is reached, IDOL Content Component does not index any new terms for that document, but it does index further occurrences of any earlier terms. Unlike stop words, the position count of non-indexed terms is still increased.

For example, if the term term occurs in a document after the maximum number of terms have already been indexed, but the terms long and goal occur before the limit, term is not indexed, but the exact phrase query "long goal" does not match the phrase long term goal.
