The maximum number of occurrences to index for any single term for each document field. Use this to help reduce the effect of very long documents on the size of the index. When a term reaches the specified occurrence limit, IDOL Content Component does not index any further occurrences of the term in that field, and it cannot search them.
IDOL Content Component records the position of non-indexed occurrences of terms, so that exact phrase searches do not incorrectly match phrases that contain a non-indexed occurrence of a term. For example, if the phrase all computer operators occurs in a document after the term computer reaches the occurrence limit, an exact phrase search for
"all operators" does not match.
This setting overrides MaxIndexOccurrencesPerDocument.
