Set this parameter to enable phonetic searches. When data is indexed, HPE Content Component uses a phonetic algorithm to index a phonetic copy of all terms.

If the spelling of a keyword is not quite accurate but phonetically correct, a Soundex keyword search returns results that contain the keyword and phonetically similar keywords.

You can use different algorithms for phonetic matching. Set Soundex to one of the following values:

0 Do not index phonetic terms.
1 HPE Soundex extension.
2 Standard Soundex.
4 Double Metaphone.
8 HPE Double Metaphone extension.
