Regenerate the security index to repair it after a validation failure. When the ValidateSecIndex part of a validation fails, you can stop HPE Content Component, set RegenerateSecIndex to True, and restart. On restart, HPE Content Component attempts to rebuild the security index.

The security index regeneration relies on the node table files (nodetable-ndd and nodetable-nref). These files must be consistent and complete for a successful regeneration.

After the security index has been regenerated, HPE recommends that you disable RegenerateSecIndex again to avoid wasting time by regenerating the security index every time you restart HPE Content Component.

You can also regenerate the security index without restarting the server by using the DREREGENERATE index action.
