AgentCopy

Allows you to copy an agent. You can use this action to set up a new agent that shares all or most of the details of an existing agent.

This action uses port 9000 to copy the Global Warming agent details for the Administrator user from HPE Community Component, which is situated on a machine with the IP address 12.3.4.56. The agent details are copied to the NewUser user's Global agent.

Parameters

Parameter Description Required
AgentName The name of the agent to copy. see Comments
AID The agent ID of the agent to copy. see Comments
DeferLogin Use another system for user authentication.  
DestinationAgentName The name of the new agent. see Comments
DestinationUserName The user name of the user that the new agent belongs to.  
EmailAddress The e-mail address of the user.  
FieldFieldName A field for the new agent.  
InputEncoding The encoding of the AgentName and UserName values.  
OutputEncoding Converts the encoding of the text that the action returns.  
Security A field for the user to store user security details.  
UID The ID of the user that the agent to copy belongs to. see Comments
UserName The user name of the user that the agent to copy belongs to. see Comments

This action accepts the following standard ACI action parameters.

ForceTemplateRefresh Forces the server to load the template from disk.
Output Writes output to a file.
ResponseFormat The format of the action output.

You must set one of the following parameter combinations:

If you are copying the agent to create a new agent for the same user, you must also set DestinationAgentName.
