Type

Boolean

Default

false

Required

no

Description

Languages whose script is written from right to left (such as Arabic and Hebrew) are implemented in one of the following ways:

  • data is stored left to right but displayed by the application (for example a browser) in right to left form.
  • data is stored right to left.

Set ImportReverseTextDirection to true if you want to import content data that is stored left to right. The Import Module will reverse the text so that it is stored in right to left form. You can use ImportReverseTextDirectionExtns to specify the file extensions of files in which you want to reverse the text direction.

Note: you must ensure that the data has been written from right to left (for example by using the View Source option when you display the data in a browser). If you set ImportReverseTextDirection to true for data that has been written from left to right and is only displayed as from right to left (for example in a browser), it will be imported in reverse and become unreadable.

Example

ImportReverseTextDirection=true
