EliminateBetweenChars
 
Description

Allows you to remove a string between two specified characters in the ImportFieldOpApplyTo<N> field. Use ImportFieldOpParam<N> as follows to specify how this string is removed:

ImportFieldOpParam<N>=StartChar,EndChar,RemoveStartChar,RemoveEndChar

StartChar
Enter the character that marks the start of the string that you want to remove.

EndChar
Enter the character that marks the end of the string that you want to remove.

RemoveStartChar
Enter 0 to exclude the StartChar character from the string that is removed.
Enter 1 to include the StartChar character in the string that is removed.

RemoveEndChar
Enter 0 to exclude the EndChar character from the string that is removed.
Enter 1 to include the EndChar character in the string that is removed.

Example

ImportFieldOp0=EliminateBetweenChars
ImportFieldOpApplyTo0=Alphabet
ImportFieldOpParam0=a,z,0,1

In this example, if the Alphabet field contains the value a,b ... y,z, it is imported with the value a.
