Checksum

Description

Allows you to calculate a hash value based on the value of a number of fields specified as parameters.

Example

ImportFieldOp0=Checksum
ImportFieldOpApplyTo0=FIELDNAME_SHA1
ImportFieldOpParam0=SHA1|From,To,Cc,Subject
ImportFieldOpCreateField0=TRUE
ImportFieldOpCheckField0=From
ImportFieldOpCheckValue0=*

ImportFieldOpCheckField and ImportFieldOpCheckValue allow you to perform the field operation conditionally on the existence of a certain field. In the example above, we perform the hash only if the From field is present and it has a value (indicated by the * wildcard).

The ImportFieldOpCreateField option will create the field if it does not already exist. If not specified, an existing field will be replaced. ImportFieldOpApplyTo specifies the name of the output field.

ImportFieldOpParam allows you to specify the type of the algorithm (SHA1 or MD5) followed by a pipe character (|) and then a comma separated list of field names.
