Description

The method used to log in to the site you are spidering. You can enter one of the following methods:

AUTHENTICATE
Enter AUTHENTICATE if you enter information, such as user name and password, into a dialog box when you log in to the site you are spidering.

SITEMINDERAUTH
Enter SITEMINDERAUTH if you enter information, such as user name and password, into a dialog box when you log in to a site protected by Netegrity SiteMinder. The connector automatically logs in again when the cookie expires.

FORMPOST
Enter FORMPOST if you enter information, such as user name and password, into fields on the site you are spidering, and the form uses the POST method to send this information to the site's server.

FORMPOSTWITHCOOKIE
Enter FORMPOSTWITHCOOKIE if you enter information, such as user name and password, into fields on the site you are spidering, and the form uses the POST method to send this information to the site's server. The connector automatically logs in again when the cookie expires.

Enter FORMGET if you enter information, such as user name and password, into fields on the site you are spidering, and the form uses the GET method to send this information to the site's server.
