Synchronous Versus Asynchronous Actions
Some of the actions described here are synchronous and others are asynchronous.
The connector does not respond to a synchronous action until it has completed the request. The result of the action is in the response to the request.
An asynchronous action responds immediately; the request is added to a queue of actions to be performed. The response to the request contains a token. You can use this token to determine whether the request has finished and the results of the action. You can do this using the QueueInfo action.
Example
http://localhost:1234/action=Fetch&FetchAction=Synchronize
Response
<autnresponse>
<action>FETCH</action>
<response>SUCCESS</response>
<responsedata>
<token>MTAuMi4xMDUuMzQ6MTIzNDpGRVRDSDoxNzUyNTc4MDc0</token>
</responsedata>
</autnresponse>
